APPROACH

Somewhere Co is an independent brand strategy and creative practice working with ambitious people and businesses to build brands with purpose, personality and commercial potential.

From launching new ventures to evolving established brands, the studio brings together strategic thinking, creative expertise and commercial understanding to create work that is distinctive, cohesive and built to last.

Spanning brand positioning, creative direction, digital experiences and marketing, every project is approached with an understanding of the bigger picture. Beautiful design matters, but so does how a brand connects with its audience, performs in the market and contributes to the success of the business behind it.

Purposefully independent, Somewhere Co adapts to the needs of each project, collaborating with a trusted network of creatives, developers and specialists to deliver considered outcomes.

ANNABEL KEEN
Brand Strategist / Creative Director / Marketing Consultant

My background spans design, marketing and brand leadership, with experience working both inside businesses and as an independent creative consultant.

I’ve partnered with founders, family businesses and established organisations to launch new ventures, reposition existing brands and bring ambitious ideas to market. Along the way, my work has extended well beyond visual identity, encompassing brand strategy, product development, creative direction, marketing and launch.

Having worked on both sides of the client relationship, I understand the balance between creative ambition and commercial reality. I’m interested in how businesses work, what drives their growth and how thoughtful creative decisions can make a meaningful commercial difference. Research, data and measurable outcomes are an important part of my process, informing everything from positioning and strategy to the final execution.

Over the years, my work has appeared everywhere from billboards in Paris to the shelves of local supermarkets, and has been recognised through multiple industry awards, including News Corp’s Movie Marketer of the Year (Runner-up).

I hold a Bachelor of Design and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing (Distinction), bringing together a strong creative foundation with strategic marketing expertise.

I believe good business starts with good people. I love working with ambitious, thoughtful businesses that care about what they do and how they do it. Bringing together creativity, strategy and commercial thinking, I want to help them build stronger brands, make smarter decisions and do better, more beautiful business.
